Spatial Dimension* is part of the Consortium that has been successful in its bid to implement a new computerised Mining Cadastral Information Management System (MCIMS) for the Tanzanian Ministry of Energy and Minerals.
As part of the Tanzanian Mineral Sector Development Technical Assistance Project (MSDP), the Nordic Development Fund has awarded a consortium made up of Swedish Geological, Spatial Dimension, Swede Survey and InfoBridge a contract to establish a Mining Cadastral Information Management System (MCIMS) in the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, Tanzania.
Spatial Dimension will be implementing its successful Mining Cadastre system, FlexiCadastre. FlexiCadastre has been used successfully by the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy in Mozambique, and its predecessor, the Tenement Information Management System (TIMS) is used by both ENDIAMA and the Ministry of Geology and Mines in Angola.
*Trimble acquired Spatial Dimension on September 2, 2015. FlexiCadastre is now part of the Landfolio software suite.
